Textures is a heavy metal band formed Dutch in Tilburg in 2001. His style fits into the progressive metal mixed with elements of death metal and thrash metal and including melodic interludes, which results in a style similar to the Swedish band Meshuggah. On their first album, polars, also experimented with environmental passages. Currently, Textures have a contract with record label Nuclear Blast, having released three albums on Listenable Records.
